
Ariel Tal has been delivering customized solutions to film, game, app, and architecture studios for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in creating high-quality art pipelines that optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of art projects. His work has been featured in projects including Mercenaries 2: World In Flames, Lord of the Rings Conquest, Tony Hawk: Shred, Farmville 2, Fort Courage, Frozen Frenzy Mania.
Past clients include Tippett Studio, Panemic Studios, GPL Technologies, Zynga, Storm 8, OssoVR, Strivr and Limit Break.
Shortly after graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in animation and game programming, Ariel started his career with the legendary animator, Phill Tippett. Acting as pre-production lead animator for Phil’s directorial debut, Starship Troopers 2. Ariel authored a shot tracking system that was used studio wide for 8 years.
In 2005, Ariel entered the game industry and helped Pandemic Studios transition their pipeline to support the next generation gaming consoles, Xbox 360 and PS3. He lead a team to create a particle pipeline, art tracking software as well as art creation toolchain allowing artists to submit assets directly into the game.
In 2013, Ariel lead the optimization of the runtime pipeline to lower memory usage by 50% for the world acclaimed Farmville 2 web game.
In 2017 and 2019, Ariel lead the creation of art pipelines for OssoVR and Strivr. These VR training platforms have been used in Walmart and many Hospitals.
In 2022, Ariel lead the creation of an NFT generation pipeline for Limit Break enabling the artists to focus variant artwork.
